ABOUT ROB
Rob Frayne is an award-winning Ottawa-based jazz musician and composer whose rich and compelling compositions weave jazz with influences of classical, celtic, folk and other styles. He is best known for his work with Chelsea Bridge and the Angstones in the 80s and 90s. These days, he is arranging/composing his “Ottawa Suite”, a concert set for a very big “Dream Band” exploring Ottawa’s storied venues and jazz cats in the 40s, 50s and 60s. Playing tenor sax where possible with Rakestar, Drumswamp, and Scottfree. Working on the bass and charts for Courage4.
